Olive oil depresses appetite

Fat acids in the composition of olive oil can deliver a man from torments of hunger and effectively control appetite. It is assumed that in the near future on the basis of this discovery it will be succeeded to develop new medicines for regulation - decline or stimulation – of appetite.

Pharmacologists of Californian University introduced oleic acid into bowels of laboratory rodents and noticed that it was transformed in fat named oleilethanolamid /OEA/.
