Main destination of human is doing good. A doctor as well as a confessor is the closest creature for us in all our grieves or gladness.

Healing soul, we cure body, curing body we prepare for doing good, for spiritual activity.

These two fundamentals are united.

Doctor is intended for helping people much more than any other specialist, as he stays ever in private with grief, suffering and illnesses of humans.

Any visually impaired  child is a personal tragedy for any children ophthalmologist. The main goal of newly created Association of Children Ophthalmologists is to render qualified aid to all children despite their place of residence or endowment of their families.

The Association will conduct guest consultations in regional and city hospitals free of charge, charity consulting room has been organized with help of Mother Superior of Zymne Monastery (Volyn Region). The second charity consultation room has been opened in Khmelnitsky Region.  

During three years the Association conducted 2 conferences for children ophthalmologists, more than 10 training conferences on new methods in ophthalmology. In frames of the "Vision-2020" program (Zir-2020) neonatologists are prepared for detection of children with pathologies of vision at early stages of diseases. special training for parents of visually impaired children and their schoolteachers are planned for this year.   

Association of Children Ophthalmologists works together with Ukrainian Orthodox Church, conducting many conferences and trainings, opening special consultation room on base of monasteries, renders help for children and families with visually impaired children.
